Not sure a part fits? Send us the VIN and we will confirm it by hand. That is usually faster than guessing, and it avoids a return.

Questions

The ones we get most.

Save your car in the app down to the engine variant, and the catalogue filters to what fits it. If you want certainty on a specific part, send us the VIN on WhatsApp and we will check it by hand before you order.

Not to browse. Nothing is asked of you until you pay, and there is no password anywhere in the app. You can search the whole catalogue, save your car, save parts for later and send us an order on WhatsApp without giving us your name. Your basket, your saved cars and your saved parts are kept on the phone itself. The app does open an account for the handset on first launch, with no name, email or phone number in it — but what you send us is recorded against it. Each WhatsApp request keeps the message text, which can include a number plate or a chassis number, the parts in the basket at the time and the car you had selected; and if you allow notifications, the phone's own device name is stored with its push token. Signing in matters for one thing, paying in the app. The screen is headed “Create your account”: you give us an email address, we email you a short numeric code, you type it back, and your saved cars, basket and alerts all carry over. If we do not have your name yet, the app asks for it once, so the rider knows who to ask for.

Two ways, and the part decides which. Anything we hold in stock can be paid for in the app. Checkout offers mobile money — M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo, Mixx by Yas and Halopesa — where you approve the request on your handset, and card, which opens Stripe's own payment sheet. We never see your PIN or your card number. Anything we bring in to order goes to WhatsApp instead, and we agree the price with you there before anything is charged. Prices are in Tanzanian Shillings, delivery is charged on the order total and shown to you before you pay, and paying in the app needs an email address on the account. See delivery and payment.

Because the catalogue is deliberately focused rather than exhaustive, and depth varies a lot by make. Mercedes-Benz and BMW are the deepest today; Toyota and Ford have only just been added. If your car brings up little, that is the app being honest rather than broken — message us and we will quote you directly, since most of what we sell we bring in to order anyway.

They are parts from established manufacturers — Bosch, Brembo, Mann-Filter, Febi Bilstein, ZF, Liqui Moly and others — many of whom supply the vehicle makers directly. They are not dealer-boxed parts and we do not describe them as such. Every one carries its manufacturer's own warranty.

Within 14 days of delivery, if the part is unused and in its original packaging, or if it is the wrong part, defective or damaged. If the error is ours, we cover the return shipping. Full terms on the returns page.

Account tab, then Settings, then Delete account, then confirm — the same on iPhone and Android. Provided the phone is online, the account goes the moment you confirm, and the email address on it, your name, your notification history and settings, your stock alerts and the push token holding the device name all go with it; the app also clears the garage and the basket off the phone. Not everything is erased, though. A request you sent us on WhatsApp stays on our side, no longer linked to any account, keeping the message as you wrote it — a number plate or a chassis number included — the basket at the time and the car it was about. An order you paid for is kept for our records too, also unlinked, with the delivery address and phone number stripped out of it. If you have already uninstalled the app, email us with the subject “Delete my account”. Full detail, including what we keep and for how long, on deleting your account.
